Sushi and Sunshine

Five of our favourite places to take your sushi when the sun is shining in London…

St James’s Park
Nearest tube(s): St James’s park
The smaller of the royal parks but most definitely one of London’s finest options for alfresco dining. With Buckingham Palace on one side, Horse Guards Parade on the other and the Mall running adjacently you are in regal realms.

Victoria Embankment Gardens
Nearest tube(s): Charing Cross or Embankment
In this quiet corner near South Bank, you can find a bandstand that hosts events year-round, perfectly pruned gardens and an exhibition of interesting statues referencing characters relevant to the area. A fun game of guess who!

Primrose Hill
Nearest tube(s): Camden Town, Chalk Farm
The perfect spot for later in the day as you can admire the London skyline as the sun sets. An insiders tip; the most spectacular views can be found atop Primrose Hill (towards the north of Regent’s Park).

Holland Park
Nearest tube(s): Holland Park
Kensington’s most popular hideout and not surprisingly because as well as natural woodland, it boasts a beautiful Japanese Kyoto Garden, a koi pond and waterfall. Heaven.

Hampstead Heath
Nearest tube(s): Hampstead Heath Hampstead
Finding a private spot is not difficult in this vast expanse of turf! If you head towards the west of the park you will find the stunning grounds surrounding the Pergola.

Now all that’s left to do is grab some sushi and go!
